Being appointed as the agency in charge of launching Duolingo’s TikTok and Instagram channels in Japan sent our knees a-trembling; not only is it one of the most iconic brands on social media worldwide, but it’s not every day you’re handed a 1.5 by 2-meter, famously unhinged green owl mascot to create content with. It’s been quite a ride.
In our first two years of collaborating with the brand, we’ve grown the TikTok channel from 0 to 2 million followers, produced 50+ viral videos (>1M views), consistently maintained a top 3 position for highest engagement rate among brands on Japanese TikTok, and even collaborated with Sonic the Hedgehog—a personal hero and mentor.
Since late 2024, we’ve also been hard at work on Duo’s Instagram, where Lily is already turning heads with her fashion-forward flair.
