Village House
~ Annoying Conditions
Japanese people have had to put up with irrational rental conditions for far too long. Shikikin, reikin, and koshin-ryu (deposit, key money, and agency fee) account for an insane amount of upfront money to pay, making the decision to move that much scary. Thankfully, Village House —a new player in the Japanese rental housing market— has done away with these ridiculous conditions, promising 0 upfront costs when moving into one of their apartments.
To show this, we decided to invite families that have lived with ridiculous conditions all their lives (here personified as Japanese traditional coins), to bring them to a Japanese appraisal TV show and find out how much they are really worth.
Annoying conditions are worthless.
